September 2006 - The Minneapolis Field Office's Local 3419 hosted a Lunch & Learn to inform bargaining unit employees on issues of importance to all federal employees. By working with the AFGE Regional (District 8) Office, the HUD Local 3419 extended its invitation to the AFGE National President John Gage. The Lunch & Learn was a great success in educating bargaining unit employees who learned about issues on the national radar screen from AFGE President Gage, including pay-for-performance initiatives, proposed changes to the civil-service system as well as other topics. |
